This coming weekend we’re selling 97% of our belongings. 97% of all our STUFF.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – we’re opening our house for people to come in and buy whatever they see. See a couch? Buy it. See a dining room table? Buy it.
You want the rest of my sandwich I’m eating at the moment? BUY IT.
Oh – and Books. WE HAVE SO MANY BOOKS.
We have literally less than three weeks to get out of this house and we don’t want to bring more than a few boxes we can load into our cars. That means EVERYTHING ELSE MUST GO. And it will – whether we sell it, or it gets donated – or just plain thrown out.
We have a 3 year old – so that means we also have an amazing selection of baby/toddler/young child clothes, and toys, and learning development things, some of them kind of Waldorf-y.
And of course tables, chairs, dressers, lots and lots and lots of dishes (I must have grown up without any dishes because I feel like I hoard plates and glasses) – and then all of the odd cooking utensils/tools I thought I needed during that 4 months cooking phase I went through last year.)
Aside from all the regular stuff that fills a 3 bedroom home – we have a photography business – and I’ve been buying gear and studio stuff for literally 5 years. Much of it is already sold (or I downsized along the way) but there’s still more than I’m taking with me.
And except for what I need to continue our Photography Business – Everything Else NEEDS TO GO.

Everything is VERY MUCH PRICED TO SELL and be TAKEN AWAY THAT DAY.
